Horehronie is a beautiful region 🙂 And although our accommodation is in the middle of nowhere, you can find a lot of experiences and activities that you can engage in a little or a little way from it. Since our accommodation is located high up on a hill, we recommend that you always consider the necessity of using a car.
Nová Baňa
It is magical 🙂 A small town with a long history surrounded by forested mountains, where you can relax, because there is no rush here. It is ideal for a pleasant walk and sitting for a coffee, and you will also find a supermarket (LIDL) in it, where you can buy everything you need for your stay with us.
Tajch
Less than 3 kilometers from us, you will find the Tajch lake, which is a favorite place for the residents of Nova Bana. It is located in beautiful nature, in its area you will find a volleyball court, a badminton court, tennis courts and a beach volleyball court. There is also a restaurant with a terrace where you can sit comfortably.
Horses
2.5 kilometers from us is the Beri Riding School, which offers basic horse riding training in addition to recreational (outing) riding. It is likely that you will also meet horses (and people 🙂 ) from Beri in the vicinity of our accommodation, which offers beautiful views and pleasant paths through the forest and meadows.
Vyhne
Only 22 kilometers from our accommodation you will find the popular Vodný raj swimming pool in Vyhnia. It is located in a beautiful environment and offers several swimming pools, water slides and most importantly – healing thermal water 🙂 In addition, Vyhne itself is a beautiful village where you can take a pleasant walk and have a coffee or a beer in local establishments.
Hiking
Our accommodation is located right next to the forest, where you will find many paths and roads. Veľký Inovec, Pohronský Inovec or Starohutský waterfall are frequent destinations of tourist trips. In addition, mushroom pickers will also come into their own here, just wait for the right weather and have a big enough basket 🙂
Banská Štiavnica
One of the biggest jewels of Slovakia, the beautiful Banská Štiavnica, is only 33 kilometers away from us. This city, registered on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, probably needs no further introduction. You can make a nice day trip to it from us and in the evening grill something delicious again on your terrace Na samote 🙂
Ferrata Skalka
Do you feel like a little adrenaline? An hour’s drive from us, you can find it at the Kremnica Ferratu Skalka 🙂 You can rent the necessary equipment right on the spot (however, we recommend booking it in advance) and you can start overcoming your limits 🙂
